India has added another feather to its cap by being re-elected to Part II of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Council for the 2025–2028 term. This achievement is not just a formal win but a strong recognition of India’s consistent efforts to improve global civil aviation.

The ICAO Council is responsible for ensuring the implementation of all international rules and standards relating to aviation safety, air navigation, security, and environmental protection.
