Beginning on October 16, 2025, applicants who utilize the Pariksha portal will have their Computer Numbers auto-generated thus cutting down papers and saving time for manual verification. The action taken is aimed at expediting the overall application process, increasing correctness, and taking approvals faster.
Background
Previously, the applicants were required to submit documents manually which sometimes resulted in delays and mistakes. The DGCA, being aware of the situation, came up with a new plan and it was to incorporate DigiLocker, so the regulator would get verified information like grades, address, and pictures automatically, thus making it a less complicated and more trustworthy process.
