The Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA) initiated the preparation for Special Campaign 5.0 to be held from 2 to 31 October 2025. A review meeting was chaired by the Secretary (Civil Aviation), during which the organisational heads and nodal officers from the aviation-related bodies took part.
The meeting highlighted the importance of digital transformation, office cleanliness, grievance redressal, and streamlined administration. These core areas are fundamental to ensuring good governance in civil aviation.

For MoCA, this means adopting practices that enhance public service delivery in aviation, from faster decision-making to better stakeholder engagement.
The civil aviation sector holds the distinction of being one of the fastest-growing industries in India. By active participation in the much-publicized Special Campaign 5.0, the MoCA is setting a precedent for efficiency, transparency, and responsive governance-a boon for government officers and employees and for the passengers, airlines, and aviation partners themselves.
The full-fledged dedication and coordination for making the campaign would render Indian civil aviation administration efficient, robust, and future-oriented.
